Increase in Residential Housing Costs
Redline Quantity Surveyors report that there has been a 3.8% increase in residential housing costs in South-East Queensland from January 2021 to December 2022.
Please note, the above percentage is based on homes completed in 2021 and 2022 which is not reflective of recent significant increases in construction costs due to existing contracts in place prior to the significant increases. Redline Quantity Surveyors anticipate reporting an increase in the range of 20-30% for homes completed in 2023.
